ISHR wishes to congratulate 2023-24 Advocate Amisha Adhikari who sent the following update: "I am reaching out to share that I graduated from Georgetown Law on 17 May with LL.M. in International Legal Studies (Certificate in International Human Rights Law), and I will be moving to New York in June. I especially wanted to share this with you because you have been such a pivotal part of my journey. I will be starting a summer remote internship at a law firm based in D.C. (from mid-June), but I plan to reconnect with and reach out to people I met through HRAP in NYC as I continue navigating professional life. It was through HRAP that I first got a glimpse of academic and professional life in the US. That experience stayed with me profoundly. It helped me realize how much I believe in the importance of academia and that impactful work also requires strong knowledge, nuance, and continuous learning. In many ways, HRAP is what ultimately inspired me to return to the US for my LL.M."
