2002 Advocate Petar Antic recently presented at the ICON-S Balkans Chapter Inaugural Conference, held at Union University Law School in Belgrade.
During the panel on External and Internal Dimensions of Constitutional Identity, Petar delivered a paper titled “Constitutional Identity Beyond Ethnic and Civic Dichotomies: A Minority Rights Perspective.” His presentation examined the relationship between constitutional identity, minority rights, and constitutionalism, arguing that contemporary constitutional identity relies on democracy, equal citizenship, and the effective protection of minority rights rather than traditional ethnic and civic distinctions.
