ISHR wishes to congratulate the winners of the 2023 Human Rights Thesis Competition.
On April 25, 15 students gathered on Zoom to participate in ISHR's annual Human Rights Thesis Competition. During the event, students took hundreds of hours of thesis research in the human rights discipline and transformed it into 5-minute presentations. The range of topics included social movements in Brazil, the democratic deficit in the U.S., the human right to housing, and many more. The faculty judges were Joseph Slaughter, Jackie Dugard, and Joy Chia.
